Where do you bake your cookies and Brooklyn Balls?

We are currently baking from our home kitchen in Trumansburg, NY, while we await the opening of Shared Kitchen Ithaca (SKI), a brand-new commercial kitchen space launching this spring. Rest assured, we've taken extensive measures to ensure that our home kitchen meets high standards for cleanliness and safety.

What cleaning and safety measures do you follow?

We start each baking session by deep-cleaning all surfaces and equipment with food-safe sanitizers. We maintain a dedicated baking area and use separate utensils and tools to prevent cross-contamination. Additionally, we never prepare personal food or other non-business-related items in this space.

How do you manage allergen precautions?

Our treats are made in a kitchen that handles common allergens, including peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, eggs, dairy, and soy. While we take every precaution to avoid cross-contact, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. We use separate equipment for allergen-based products and sanitize thoroughly between batches.

Why are you operating from a home kitchen?

Shared Kitchen Ithaca is a new commercial kitchen opening its doors to the Ithaca food community soon, but we couldn’t wait to get our goodies into your hands! We decided to do a soft launch from our home kitchen to share our treats with friends, family, and new fans while we wait for SKI to open. Rest assured, we’re still using the same perfected recipes and high-quality ingredients you know and love.

When will you be baking from a commercial kitchen?

We plan to transition to SKI once it opens this spring. In the meantime, we’re committed to maintaining strict cleaning and safety protocols to ensure you receive delicious, fresh treats.

How do I order a treat box?

Ordering is easy! Browse our treat box themes, select your desired size and cookie flavors and add them to your cart. Follow the checkout process and we’ll take care of the rest!

Can I create a custom treat box for a special occasion?

While we don’t offer fully custom designs, you can mix and match flavors and include a personalized note with your order. We regularly introduce new treat box themes, so be sure to sign up for our newsletter to stay updated on our latest releases!

I’m sending a gift. Do you include prices in the box?

Nope! Don’t worry—we’ve got you covered. We never include prices in gift orders because we’re gifting pros. 😊

Where do you get your treat box items from?

We source items like stickers, keychains, jewelry, and assorted snacks through Faire, a wholesale marketplace known for its unique merchandise. We proudly support other U.S.-based small businesses by selecting products exclusively from these suppliers. To learn more, click here.

What comes in a treat box?

Each treat box includes 6 to 8 delicious Gardella’s Goodies cookies (depending on the size you order), along with fun extras like stickers, assorted snacks, keychains, and jewelry that match the box’s theme. Explore all our treat box options!

Do you offer treat boxes for specific themes and seasonal occasions?

Can I include a gift message with my order?

How do I order a cookie or Brooklyn Ball box?

Ordering is easy! To build your own cookie box or build your own Brooklyn Box, simply select your preferred size and flavors, and add them to your cart. Brooklyn Ball Care Instructions

Upon arrival, store your Brooklyn Balls in the refrigerator or freezer, depending on when you plan to enjoy them. They stay freshest in the fridge for up to one month. If you'd like to save them for longer (an unlikely scenario, we know!), simply freeze them and thaw for about 10 minutes before indulging.

How long do your cookies and Brooklyn Balls last?

Our cookies are best enjoyed within 10–14 days of arrival. Brooklyn Balls stay fresh for up to one month in the refrigerator or can be stored in the freezer for longer-term enjoyment.

Do Brooklyn Balls need to be refrigerated? 

Yes! For the best taste and texture, Brooklyn Balls are meant to be enjoyed cold.

Can I freeze your cookies or Brooklyn Balls for longer periods of time? 

Absolutely! Brooklyn Balls can be frozen for several months. When you’re ready to enjoy, just transfer them to the fridge for about 10 minutes to defrost.

Our cookies can also be stored in the freezer right in their packaging. To enjoy, preheat your oven to 325°F, place the cookies directly from the freezer onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, and warm for about 7 minutes. Let them cool slightly before indulging!

I have a food allergy. What can I eat?

All of our treats are made in a kitchen that processes wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts. You can find more detailed ingredient and allergen information for each product below in the following questions.

While we take precautions to minimize cross-contamination, we are not an allergy-free bakery. Your safety is our priority, so please don’t hesitate to contact us with any concerns!

Are any of your products gluten-free?

At this time, we do not have gluten-free products available. As a small bakery, it can be challenging to source the specialty ingredients needed for gluten-free treats. We’re hoping to expand our offerings in the future, so stay tuned!

Do you ship your goodies anywhere in the US?

Yes! We offer nationwide shipping on all our products. Explore our offerings and start shopping.

How are the cookies and balls packaged for nationwide shipping?

All products are carefully wrapped in bubble wrap to ensure they arrive safely. Each cookie in a treat box or cookie box is individually wrapped for freshness. Brooklyn Ball boxes include a cold pack to keep your goodies cool during transit.

Do you offer same-day or rush delivery?

While we don't offer same-day delivery, you can choose Priority Mail Express for fastest shipping at checkout. Please reach out with any specific timing questions, and we’ll do our best to help!

Do you accept refunds or returns?

At Gardella’s Goodies, we’re all about spreading joy — and that includes making sure your treats arrive safely and in perfect condition. We’ve taken great care to package and ship your goodies securely, but we understand that things can happen once a package is in transit.

While we aren’t responsible for lost or damaged packages after they leave our hands, we know how disappointing it is when something goes wrong. If you experience an issue, please reach out to us at hello@gardellasgoodies.com. We’d love to hear from you, and we’ll do our best to make things right.

Refunds and replacements are offered at our discretion, but we’ll always do what we can to ensure you have a sweet experience with us.

Where is my order?

You’ll receive an email confirmation right after placing your order and another email with tracking information once it’s processed for shipment. If you don’t see the confirmation email, check your spam or junk folder and be sure to add orders@gardellasgoodies.com to your safe senders list.

I want to make sure an order arrives on a specific date. Can you make that happen?

Yes, we can! At checkout, you’ll have the option to choose delivery "ASAP" or "On a Specific Date."

If selecting a specific date, please make sure your order is placed at least 7 days in advance to ensure it arrives on time.

Yes! We source our boxes from Arka, a company that uses environmentally friendly materials. All of their packaging is also 100% made in the U.S.

Can I place a party order for an event in the Finger Lakes?

Definitely! We love being part of local celebrations. Whether it’s a birthday, wedding, or corporate event, Gardella’s Goodies will bring the treats!
