The peanut butter ball is a beloved recipe from Lauren’s family, who, as you might have guessed, hail from Brooklyn. She’s been making them with her mom since childhood, and family members would eagerly anticipate their delivery of peanut butter balls each holiday season.

In 2019, after losing her grandmother, her cat, and her job, Lauren found herself at a crossroads. Baking had always been a source of comfort, so she started making peanut butter balls to lift her spirits. Before long, she was experimenting with new flavors and textures in the kitchen while her fiancé (now husband), Lee, was at work. Within a few months, she had created an array of delicious, decadent chocolate truffles that she was excited to share with the world.

Brooklyn Balls quickly became a hit in the NYC food scene, popping up at local markets and events across neighborhoods and even launching an online store to ship to loyal customers. But when COVID hit, we had to put the Brooklyn Balls dream on hold. Until now!
